Craig Smith sought to own a company where he could combine his passions for landscaping and ecology.
He has 30 + years experience working in landscaping and has worked on a diverse range of projects including the public and private sector business grounds, roads and show gardens. Craig has worked on four Gold award Chelsea Flower Show gardens in his 30+ years working in the sector.
​Since 2010, CSLE diversified into Ecology, Undertaking habitat management projects, commercial landscaping and Grounds Maintenance. CSLE has experience of undertaking surveys for protected species, with a particular emphasis on herpetofauna, but also including bats, otters and water voles.

CSLE now has a very Diverse Client list and the company undertakes Large Scale Commercial Grounds Maintenance projects for Goverments PFI contracts across the UK , Private Schools and we also undertakes large scale tree felling operations, tree surgery and other tree related works.
